Campaigning Photography:

In relation to the topics beneath the Campaigning Photography unit I would mostly consider pursuing   politics, gender, sexuality or age. This is because I believe that these aspects of my outline possible topics would either fit better with my personal photography aesthetic or because I believe them to be more accessible. I do not find inspiration from the outlined suggested photographic campaigns from the exam paper but instead prefer focusing on individual photographers who document campaigns such as Gordon Parks who is within the connected image series.

Connected Images:

In reference to the branches that fall under the Connected Images topic of the exam paper I would consider the idea of following either a theme, technique or subject matter much more so that I would like to focus on an individual element for connection through the means of colour or something along the same vein. I very much liked how diverse the suggested photographers on the exam paper for the outlined subject matter are; for instance, Gordon Parks' images are captured in a similar style around the same theme. Moreover, the technique of composite images created with a film camera by Patrick Winfield are reminiscent of David Hockney's joiner technique and are something that I have enjoyed previously. Furthermore, Nobuhiro Nakanashi's experimentation of the photographic medium as a 3D form is again an interesting interpretation of cameras and their uses.
